yes indeed. i've experienced it time and time again :)
i passed my driving test today!! by God's grace, i had the nicest tester (testified by my driving instructor). he was so nice that he kept telling me not to be nervous haha. during my directional change, i had the wisdom to judge that i would not be able to turn out in one sitting, hence i decided to reverse and move out again. my tester praised me for doing so and said that had i not done so, i would have definitely mounted the kerb and there goes my licence hee. then during parallel parking, i knocked into the pole but luckily it didn't fall. phew. and last of all, i was actually allocated route 6 which is so called the "killer route" because the area is supposedly very congested, making it difficult to change lanes within a short distance. but. my tester decided to change the route because the initial route was TOO congested. hahahaha. my route got shortened and the u-turn i had to do so happened to be the same as what i had practised in the morning before my test. and so i got my license. praise God :)
God has blessed me with a great cip group as well. full of funny and friendly people :)

i want to learn to stop being a "brandist"- judging things by its brand. though true that branding is important which is why firms all over the world are scrambling to brand their products. but isn't it tiring to always have to base your decisions on brands. there is also a possibility of an empty shell underneath that brand.
i want to learn to let go and leave things to God. aunt amy once said, " i believe firmly in something and that is, it doesn't matter what you do because as God's children, you will always be favoured upon abundantly." :)
If God is for me, who else can be against me :) :)
On a sidenote, the weather recently has been HOT HOT HOT. i have never spent so much drinks before. ice blended drinks to be exact. and i shall publicise my current love: azuki frapp by starbucks- coffee based. it's HEAVENLY :)

work :);
And so work ended officially on friday 29 june 2007. it's a day of mixed feelings. happy for the recovered freedom to do the things that i like; sad for the "dispersal" of the ey family. there are so many things that i'm going to miss: golden shoe, maxwell, name calling, office gossip and just plain suaning. it's so hard to come by co- workers who are of the same frequency as yourself and being able to laugh at jokes together but God has blessed me with it :)
valuable friendships forged :)
funny guys who made work bearable :)
my workstation for 4 months. the best view in the whole office :)
my pass with numbers in case i forgot. hehe.
look at the eye- goggling number of boxes we have used for keeping our files and shredding!

Saturday was exploration day with lian at...
haji lane!!
i love that place. simply because of its quaint settings, lovely clothes and accessories, great bargains and... mr cute :)
came across this in co:llage- so creative of them to use a bath tub as a fish tank!!
after shopping was tea time at golden mile- sweet stone paradise
my favourite belgian waffles with chocolate dip :) i am so going back to try their royal fondue the next time round :)

Dinner with the raunchy gang on wednesday to celebrate turtle's birthday. camel was supposed to go with me from work but she actually left the office at 5PM when she heard that the mango sale had already started only to realise that it was only for VIP members upon reaching. tsk see what kiasuism does to one.

churchcamp :);
Finally back from church camp! it has been an awesome time with the kids and teachers :) taking part in the camp as a teacher for the first time gave me a new perspective. it's really tiring to have to look after the kids; making sure that they don't overeat, don't run when the floor is wet, pay attention during classtime, fostering team spirit in them........... countless things. yet it has been really fun. i totally went back to being a kid :) and it's real rewarding when you realise how much you as a teacher meant to them. there was this kid who wrote a note to me and put it at our care corner- pleasant surprise :) hearing the way they praise and worship just puts a smile on all the teachers. fellowshipping with the other servers was of course wonderful :)
-- and bong did me a real BIG favour when i was stuck in camp. hehe. when i mean big, it's really big. thankssss bonggggg!
-- thanks to tiff too for helping me rack her brains though it was a little rusty huh :P
