mybirthday;

One year has come and gone. the speed at which time passes scares me sometimes. still i've had an enjoyable and exciting 19th birthday :)

My God gave me the best birthday present ever :)

Lunch and after- meal activities were with my funky havocers:

rest of the afternoon was spent playing pool. and i won boon! woo hoo! haha. that silly girl will just attribute my victory to birthday luck but i have real power alright. hee

busybusy;

the last two days were packed with activites. first was bong's birthday and so boon, bong and i met first to check into swissotel and enjoy the facilities at the executive lounge hoho. later, we went k box! woo! my first k box session. it was quite fun fooling around and singing rubbish songs like tuo diao. haha. dinner was at sun with moon followed by activity of the night: party at mos. bong's debut appearance at the party scene! hahaha. not too bad but i enjoyed myself more the first time. the crowd wasn't that fun and the songs were ---.
and so we got into bed at 4am and i only had three hours of sleep before getting prepared for my cousin's wedding. 2 doctors joined in matrimony- how cool can that be :) plus 200 doctors at the dinner itself. point to note: many of the doctors were from the older generation so yes... you should get the idea. i was getting zonked out though, having being sleep deprived. but the lovely spread of food made up for that :) i love food. absolutely love them :)

blood donation;

Went with yq, qq, charlene to the blood bank during lunch today to donate blood. it was a spontaneous decision. i decided to try it since i've never done it before. BUT i didn't manage to give my blood away in the end because the nurse found my veins too SOFT. she was afraid that it would 'disappear' halfway through the process and was worried that my arm would bruise. and she told me to try again one year later. yes one year. so much for the hype for donating blood. but the nurse was so nice that she gave me a stressball and a coupon to redeem refreshments even though i didn't donate my blood in the end! hahaha.
and something shocking happened on the way back. yq fainted in the train and we were all taken by surprise cause she practically fainted without warning and even looked as though she was going to have a seizure. this was the first time a friend fainted in front of me. luckily there was company if not i would not have known what to do. anyway some smart person pressed the emergency bell and the mrt staff came to help us with a wheelchair and took good care of yq. the after- effects of fainting was quite funny was yq kept asking us the same questions like, "did i donate blood just now?" it was something like she had lots of loose pieces of images but was unable to piece them together. one of our supervisor's then commented that she was a "classic case"- faint after donating blood.

Bong and charl came over, or rather to be specific, invited themselves over on saturday to bake cakes for their mummies. oh well, i'm used to their "invites". it's a havocers' in-house specialty ;) and so our baking session started. both of them made chocolate fudge cake while i made chocolate chiffon with strawberry.

marinabay;

Class outing on sunday at marina bay and it was my first time there. finally learnt how to play pool and it's kind of fun, probably because of novelty. and i managed to win elgin! hahaha. though i never knew that jiahao and elgin were really quite good at it.

After that was dinner at one of the steamboat places. the food selection was quite satisfying and considering that it only cost 12 bucks per person, i thought it was quite value for money. ate till our tummies almost burst :)

the guys had to go back to camp so it was left with the four of us:

the marina-bay-clique!

we decided to walk to the mrt station after dinner because we were simply too full and wanted to do some exercise. however, we actually got lost after 20 minutes as we realised that we were walking in circles. but we still refused to take the bus and were determined to get to the station on foot so we continued walking. it was quite an experience walking in the quiet darkness. relaxing as well. later we bumped into a couple who was heading to the same place as us so we decided to follow them. after all, they seemed more certain of the directions hehe. and finally... after one hour, we reached our destination: MARINA BAY station. enough fun and excitement and sweat for the day/night :)

Caught spiderman3 today! it's been a long time since i've been to the cinemas and the only reason that i watched it was because i had free tickets hehe. don't be jealous :P

where have the meatballs, chicken wings and chocolate pie gone??
