Watched superman with the class today. it was ok only, not as good as what i expected it to be. the movie was quite slow pace and there were few action- packed scenes. but some scenes were rather amusing and sweet. superman is cute and so is the little boy! they make the show more enjoyable :)
MANGO sale is what i really call a SALE (:
A rather eventful day yesterday- my first official alcoholic drink! after dinner, we thought of watching soccer and so the guys suggested that we go to "the balcony" as they had those big screens. it's a really cool place! there was like this watertub in the middle and people can have their drinks around it; the ambience was pretty cool. but we arrived too late and there were no seats. we looked really odd, standing up and not ordering drinks hence some of us suggested going downstairs to get seats and by the courtesy of aston: "if we go downstairs then it won't be the balcony already. it'll be the basement." we were like -_-" there was a long queue at the ground floor as well so we decided to go to meridien where there're lots of pubs. it was the first time for jane tiff tyunn and i to step inside the shopping centre and we felt that it was a rather sleazy place- good to have the guys around, wait a min... not like they'll protect us, we thought that most likely it's the other way round haha. finally we settled down at this small bar. the rest ordered juices and soft drinks while jquek had his barcadi breezer, jane and i shared the vodkalime! it was pretty mild, not as choking as i thought it would be. first visit to the bar was ok except that we couldn't stand the smoke yucks. after we got out of the place we reeked a little of smoke... it was a good experience just that i don't think i'll ever step into meridien again; i would definitely prefer the balcony (:
Charmaine came back from her holiday to australia yesterday and delivered my presents! yay!! there's the french connection cap, funky earrings, bronze bag and most of all... there's... KRISPY KREMES. famous doughnuts that went through 5 hours of flight, delivered right to my doorstep- it's delicious :)
YAY finally went shopping with ahlian today. we decided to meet at orchard the usual place first. we shopped around for such a long time- taka to paragon to centrepoint but we realised that there's nothing nice at all! sales also don't seem to be happening. suddenly we remembered that there's the new marina square and immediately we made our way there. and now i announced that marina square is my new favourite place! it's practically everything under one roof- there's topshop, mango, dorothyperkins, warehouse, zara, espirit.............. and food! there are so many restaurants- korean food, breeks, kennyrogers, secretrecipe, cafecartel..................... best of all, i managed to find good stuff there. i love marina square :)
