v for vendetta;

Had a class movie today- V for Vendetta! it was a spontaneous outing organised by kat (: the turnout was pretty good as well. almost everybody went except for those who had caught the movie or had to go for training. V is a pretty good movie- storyline is taut, not draggy- message to the audience is clear cut- humour at certain parts- convincing actors. it's quite amazing as to how someone can actually think of such a storyline; a possible future that does not seem far away. oh and now jane's in love with the tchaikovsky 1812 overture. actually it's thanks to chenchung that we know the title of that classical piece haha and she keeps singing it! gosh we're going to have to hear that same tune for the next few days haha

shoppingday;

Finally after weeks of hibernation, we get to see the sunlight!! haha. first of all we caught "yours, mine and ours". we were seriously deprived of movies for like decades haha. then after that was shopping time!! yay haha. we hit all the stores one by one, starting from lido and we worked our way to wisma and taka. hmm haven't done that for a long time and it certainly feels good. and for the first time in ages i actually splurged on this pair of zara three quarts! oh my... but it's really very nice!! oh and i want to thank bong and lian for being so patient with me while i fussily went from one shop to another, deciding between this and that- thanks havocers :)

funny happenings;

Today has been filled with a couple of hilarious cum random happenings.
Firstly, tiffany was accompanying me to wait for charlene at the bus stop and we decided to sit down. so we walked to the seat and sat down slowly. a split second later, both of us jumped up one after another- the seat was practically burning hot! my goodness... we quickly walked away "gracefully" and couldn't stop laughing haha. we felt embarrassed at the same time as a guy so happened to be standing not far away and i think he saw what had happened. after that we decided to remain standing and we began observing others to see who else will fall into the "trap" as well. and guess what? the same thing happened to 2 other people! haha it was so funny.
Later, charl and i were at national library. then as we walked out of the central borrowing centre, we came across this sign that says, "Redeem tickets for Nanny Mcphee with every loan of 4 books". immediately our eyes opened so widely and we went to get 4 books each. off we went to the counter to redeem our movie tickets haha. it was definitely a good offer k...
Random stuff but really funny at that point of time (:
