Happy New Year;

Went for countdown with bong, charl and lian! boon didn't join us cuz she didn't know that we had plans to go for countdown so she didn't tell her mum abt it and her mum didn't allow her to go... anyway we called her at New Year and so it was alright! haha
The esplanade was FULL of ppl. goodness u dun even need to walk; ppl behind will juz push u along. the crowd started all the way frm the underground pass up till the merlion part. it was stuffy, musty- any words will do. we found it so difficult to breathe! luckily the fireworks were really PRETTY and breath-taking so we thought that the time and effort put in were worth it. of cuz we took the chance to take lovely photos haha. after that, we decided to hang around in the vicinity to explore Singapore's so-called night life and we discovered a few interesting places. this is the first time that all of us stayed out for the entire night! although we felt so groggy and tired after the entire thing, it sure is an unforgettable experience =)

back from shanghai;

Whee! i'm back frm shanghai and i brought the whole of shanghai back with me! haha. it was quite an enjoyable trip except for the fact that it was freezing cold over there and u absolutely wouldn't like it if the wind blew straight into yr face.
Here's a few snapshots taken during the trip:

crazy cousins;

I have really mad cousins. this is the conclusion that i have come up with. look at what we did at night:

initially we wanted to play with the sparklers. then yang who is so "smart" actually took this long bamboo stick which u normally use to dry clothes and he began stuffing it with sparklers. after that he lighted it and raised the bamboo up. then everything began to spark and it looked like a mini firework! it was so spectacular! quite entertaining too haha. i bet the ppl living upstairs who caught the sight were wondering what on earth that was haha. in all it was fun!

combi of stuff;

Just came back frm archery comp. i'm darker now thanks to having to stand under the sun for 4++ hrs. it was so tiring and towards the end i felt like the whole world was spinning but surprisingly my arrows didn't go haywire. i know why haha.
Went out with sharonyoyo, huiling and meiting on wed for girls' day out! yippee it was a superb session! meeting up with ppl whom i feel good talking to at all times; we simply talked abt anything that we could actually talk haha. and meiting was being so hilarious again- with all her 'meitingish' actions and words haha. it was so fun taking random pictures with random stuff! so we came to the conclusion that taking pictures with our digicam makes more sense than taking neoprints, especially when we realise that sharon's digicm has the function of taking collage photos. nevertheless we still went to take one neoprint haha. we all look so happy in the pictures; it's really great!

we're all STARS for a day!

Yang's family has gone overseas without him haha poor thing. cuz he's going bangkok for some band trip. so being the nice ppl we have always been, tania aaron and i decided to go over for the weekends to "babysit" him! which also means we're going to have mahjong nights out! haha yay looking forward to it =)

church camp;

I'm back frm combined youth church camp! it's a totally AMAZING experience! for the past 5 days, i felt like i was in a sanctuary; protected frm the complicated outside world... everything juz felt so peaceful and tranquil... the ppl frm all churches were also GREAT! the activities that we did were so MEANINGFUL and FUN as well... and... PRAGMA ROCKS! =)
